Sunday Post "After Angel's Fall"

“You're so incredibly smart and gorgeous.” He took her hand. He got an idea and led her into a room where there were very little paintings.
“Where are we going now?” she asked him.
“'I'll tell you in a minute. Give me your bag,” he said, taking it from her.
“Nick!” she called to him but he told her to wait.
Ten minutes later, he came back and handed her bag back.
“What are you up to?” She noticed the smirk on his face and wondered where he'd gone.
“I found another exhibit I want to show you. They hid it in the stairwell.” He pulled her up and led her in.
There, along the wall, he'd taped up her sketches and there was a piece of paper with the words “The Chloe Gardner Exhibit” written on it. “Now see, I like the way this artist used her talents to bring out the likeness of this nun. Look how she captured the wisps of hair that hung untouched from her habit,” he explained.
She laughed.
“And this one, notice the poise that the skater has as she spins,” he continued as he put his hand to his face, acting like he was focusing on it.
“You are crazy.” She shook her head.
“Now, I think this one is my favorite. Whoever this young man is, he is very handsome, and the artist has used him a few times. You can see the love she has for him as she has detailed his name on this sketch. Whoever this Nicholas person is, he's very good looking man.”
Chloe threw her arms around his neck and kissed him. “You're a fool, and very cocky.”
“I may be, but someday, we're going to walk in here and it's going to be your work hanging on the walls.” He kissed her.
She touched his face and stared into his soft brown eyes. “I really wish I could see what you do.”
“You will,” he answered.
Somehow, she found herself against the wall and their kisses had a hunger to them. His leg was between hers and she felt herself wanting him. His hands caressed her breasts and she wanted so much for him to take her there in the stairway.
He told her how he loved her and how he had missed her.
Her body literally ached for him. In her mind, Shelly's voice called her a slut. She rubbed at the hardness he had for her and he moaned as he kissed her neck. She felt his
hand on her leg as he pulled up the hem of her skirt. She put her hands under his shirt and dug her nails in to his back as he squeezed her butt. The word "whore" echoed through her mind. This proved it. Not only was she tempting him, she was about to have sex in the stairway at the art museum. She promised that this would not happen again, and yet, she found she couldn't stop herself.
“Oh, God Nick. Stop, stop!” she yelled and pushed him away. She sunk to the floor and tried to catch her breath.
“What? What's the matter?” he asked her, just as breathless.
He watched her closely.
She went to her knees and then begged for the thought to leave her mind.
Gently, he touched her arms.
“We can't.” She pulled away from him, and slowly stood up.
“Chloe,” he said softly, touching her cheek. “What's going on? This is the second time today you pushed me away.”
“I'm not going to have sex in a stairway. God knows what would have happened if Shelly had came home those times and we were going at it.” She started taking the sketches down.
He stopped her and made her look at him. “What happened when they kept you away from me? What did they make you believe?”

Sunday Post "After Angels Fall"

Chloe heard him coming up the steps and stood against his wall. When he came into the room, she startled him. “I thought I would sneak into your room this time.”
“What—what are you doing here?”
She ran over and kissed him as he had her the night before. “Don't say you're not happy to see me.”
He touched her face and smiled. “I'm—speechless. How, what…?”
She kissed him again and felt his arms around her. “You're soaking wet.” She laughed in between his kisses.
“I was in the pool. You're really here. What happened?” he asked again, confused but happy she was back.
“Shelly is pregnant, which put her in a better mood, and she backed down and let me out. I have my cell phone back and everything. I do have to go home tonight at a reasonable time, but the most important thing is we can be together again. I talked to your Dad and he said it was okay.” She smiled, just happy to be with him again.
Nick was confused. “My Dad? How long have you been here?”
“I went to talk to him at the church. We had a long talk and he brought me here.”
“Wow, what a nice dad I have. Come here,” he said, going to kiss her again.
She melted into his embrace and tried to stop herself from wanting more.
“Nicholas!” They heard his father yell.
“Yeah?” Nick laughed. He was going to be stricter now.
“I want to see you. Chloe, go get changed and have some fun. I think you need it,” Mr. Allen called up to them.

Sunday Post "After Angels Fall"

Chloe walked into her room and noticed that her computer was gone. She turned and looked at them. “I don't understand.” She was confused as to what they were planning.
“I want your cell phone,” her father said to her.
She took it out slowly and handed it to him.
Shelly smiled at her. “We feel that Nicholas is a bad influence on you. After what happened here the other day, we feel it is best you don't see him anymore.”
Chloe felt like the wind had been knocked out of her. “Why?”
“You're a whore now like your mother! She would be so proud of you, following in her footsteps. I put a stop to her oversexed ways like I am to you now. You're a filthy whore!” her father yelled at her.
She couldn't breathe. “You can't do this. Please don't do this.”
Shelly laughed at her. “Oh, it is already done. See, his parents were none too happy to hear how you tempted their son and made him break his promise. They finally see you for the waste you really are. You're now the whore who ruined their good name, much like you've done here.”
“I am not a whore. Please, I will do anything you want. Don't take him away from me. He is the only reason I'm still alive,” she cried as she fell to the floor.
“No, Chloe, you're a whore! You have ruined my good name by sleeping around like some tramp. And in my house! You are to have no contact with him or I will press charges against him for the assault against Shelly. Until you graduate, this is your new home. Get used to it!” he yelled and slammed her door.
It was then she heard the lock. They had put in a dead bolt on the outside of the door. She was trapped. She banged on the door, crying until she couldn't feel her hands anymore. Sliding to the floor, she sobbed. This couldn't be happening. They couldn't be doing this to her. She had done everything they asked. “Why?” was the only thing that ran through her mind. She had no way to let him know what happened. All she could do was lie on the floor and cry.

New Year New Release

A year ago, I sat at  my computer thinking about how I was going to start this blog and wondering what I was doing.  I was getting ready to sign a contract and start the publishing process.  Needless to day, that fell throw. But something better came along.  And as luck had it, my first novel "When Angels Fall" was published in November.

To see my hard work finally in print was amazing.  Almost as when I say my children for the first time.  Before it happened never considered myself a real writer, just someone who wrote stories in my spare time or an outlet for my frustrations or emotions.  And even after it was published, it still didn't hit me.  I never felt like a real author.  Slowly people started buying the book and I started getting reviews and to quote Sally Field, "Someone liked me, they really liked me" lol.

Then last night, as we all rung in the New Year, I had more to celebrate...

Book 2, "After Angels Fall" was released on Amazon. (Yea me, lol)  And it is funny, but I'm starting to feel it now.  I feel like an author.  Yeah, I'm not famous, and hardly anyone knows my name yet.  But, my god, I am really doing this thing.  I'm finally putting all this hard work into print and it feels awesome!  So last night was not just about ringing in the New Year, it was also a release party.

And something funny happened when I went to order this beautiful cake.  I gave them the picture and asked for the cover pictures be put on it.  I was told them needed the "Authors Permission"  So I gave it to them, he he he.  After the girl taking my order got all giggly.  She was excited because she never met a real life author before.  (Yeah, I did get a little bit of a big head, that was exciting)  Then when I picked up the cake yesterday, the same thing happened.  So I guess I am a little famous in my small town.

So, here is my New Years wish for you...follow your dreams and don't let anyone stop you.  You never know where they will lead.

Peace, Love, & Prosperity in the New Year~JC
